Partner

Jaclyn A. Rodriguez is a Georgia attorney with more than a decade of combined experience in family, immigration, and juvenile law. Having worked in these practice areas both as a paralegal and as an attorney, she brings a highly practical, detail-oriented approach to complex family law matters.

Although born in Atlanta, Jaclyn was raised in Puerto Rico until her mid-teens, returning to Georgia to complete high school and attend the University of Georgia, later obtaining her law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.

Jaclyn has focused her practice on family law and juvenile matters, while also integrating immigration law and policy, recognizing the frequent intersection between immigration issues and child custody jurisdiction. Her family law practice includes divorce, custody, modifications, legitimation, and domestic violence cases, along with significant experience in parental abduction and the wrongful retention of children across state and international borders. She has a deep base of knowledge in matters arising under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA) and the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, having litigated multi-jurisdictional custody disputes involving multiple U.S. states and foreign countries, often requiring expedited relief, cross-border coordination, and the enforcement or recognition of foreign custody orders.

She is known for her clear communication, meticulous preparation, and ability to guide clients through emotionally charged matters with professionalism and steadiness.

As a working parent, Jaclyn brings a practical and empathetic perspective to family law matters, particularly those involving custody and co-parenting. She understands the real-world impact legal decisions have on families and approaches each case with both strategic clarity and human awareness.
