Demetrius Price

Demetrius J. Price is a dedicated family law attorney who brings more than 10 years of experience helping clients navigate difficult and emotionally charged situations with strong advocacy and practical guidance.

Demetrius earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from California Polytechnic State University, where he studied Comparative Ethnic Studies as part of one of the university’s earliest groups of students in that major. He later attended Whittier Law School and gained hands-on legal experience working in both private family law practice and the school’s Children’s Rights Clinic. During law school, Demetrius was recognized for his courtroom advocacy skills and received the Best Advocate award in Criminal Trial Advocacy before earning his Juris Doctor.

Demetrius moved to Georgia in 2013, and was admitted to practice law after passing the Georgia Bar Exam. He began his career in the Savannah, Georgia area, handling matters involving family law, juvenile law, and general civil litigation. By 2016, his practice became exclusively focused on family law and domestic relations including but not limited to divorce, alimony, separate maintenance, child custody, child support, legitimation, modification, contempt, and family violence.

Demetrius lives in the metro Atlanta area with his wife, Dr. LaKimberly Price, and their two children. He is admitted to practice before Georgia’s State and Superior Courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. He has also been recognized by both the National Black Lawyers and the National Trial Lawyers as a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney.
