Dawn Ballard-Browne
For more than twenty-five years, attorney Dawn Ballard-Browne has provided skilled representation to individuals and families inside and outside of Georgia courtrooms. She represents clients in a wide range of family law matters including contested and uncontested divorce, child custody and support, property distribution, domestic violence and protective orders, juvenile court representation, and adoption.
Prior to joining Hecht Family Law, Dawn handled high stakes family law litigation at the firm she founded in 1995. She also served as a Courtroom Advocate in Cobb County where she worked to ensure adults and children received both a voice and fair treatment in their legal matters.
Dawn’s approach to the practice of law focuses not only on the need to produce a positive outcome for the families directly involved in the case, but also for the larger community that supports them.
“It’s been very gratifying to represent husbands, wives, children, grandparents, and other family members from all walks of life who are facing challenging times and need the kind of support and advocacy I’ve dedicated my entire career to providing.”
Dawn earned her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
In her spare time, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, playing tennis for ALTA and attending classic car shows.
